‘Prophet Joseph’ actress goes blind over COVID-19

Actress of ifilm hit series ‘Prophet Joseph’, Leila Boloukat, has gone blind for a few hours after her test came back positive for COVID-19.

The actress who was previously announced to have contracted the COVID-19, spoke in a phone interview about her blindness due to the killer virus.

"I didn't believe I had the disease when my results came in positive, and I thought it was a cold," she said in an interview.

Leila Boloukat talks about her experience of losing the senses of smell, taste and vision, from the day she was alone at home, and lost her eyesight for 2 hours.

“It was like hell,” the actress said of her fight with the virus.

Boloukat has appeared in several movies, including ' The Outcasts 1, 2', ‘Operation Kindergarten’ and ‘5-Star’ .

'The Hidden Secret' and ‘The Days of Life’ are among TV series that she has taken part in.

Besides being an actress, she is a well-wisher involved in benevolent work for boys and girls affected by child labor.
